STRENGTH UNITED MURAL | 2018
Strength United is a CSUN-based community agency with the mission to prevent sexual and domestic violence, as well as provide a safe space for those who have survived abuse. As an all-inclusive operation, Strength United aims to take a traumatic event in an individual or family’s life and turn it into a point of strength. For this project, I conceptualized, illustrated, and oversaw the production of a mural spanning across six walls in the children's playroom.
PROCESS
For the sketches, I had creative freedom to ideate the scenes of each wall in line with the themes of the mural. After sketching each section, I reviewed and revised the sketches accordingly to include any suggested characters, relationships, or scenery from the client.
